Susan (Victoria Gichora) is a typical single lady in her 30s trying to make in Nairobi. She’s trying to balance her dreams and being with a man that completes her. Susan is very romantic and easily, gets caught up in the moment. She shares all her highs and her lows in her diary, and this guides viewers into her emotions.

Susan has a chance encounter with Martin (Justin Mirichii) online, and they decide to go on a date. Sparks fly as they carry on meeting up with Susan developing feelings for Martin. Martin keeps a lid on his feelings. Finally, things take a different direction between Susan and Martin. Susan reels in shock as she examines where the relationship went wrong.

It makes her more keen and alert in her future encounters with men. She explores questions that modern-day women ask themselves regarding love, dating, relationships and finding the one in a digital age.
